>>REVIEW<< AWAKEN ME by EMILY GOSSETT

Awaken Me (A Connected Novel)

by
After witnessing the horrific murder that was committed by her fiancé just days before their wedding, Aimee immediately flees from the life she knows. Lost in Greece, Aimee is inevitably and uncontrollably thrust into a supernatural world where she is terrified to learn what she really is. Crouching at every corner lies a new confusing memory that torments her from her previous life, while her feelings of love cease to die, but awaken more deeply for the mysteriously handsome stranger, who wants to rescue her. Battling the man, who she mistakenly still loves is a bigger conquest than imagined, but can she free her captured thoughts from the man who owns her? Facing the ultimate decision, to lose all humanity by becoming the weapon the Rogues desire most, or to destroy the creation of love. Can Aimee make the sacrifices needed to overcome deceit, love and her power that is irrepressibly blood thirsty?
You could never tell by the book description that this is going to be a book involving vampires and werewolves. With that being said I think Emily Gossett did an amazing job at setting this book apart from the rest on the market by creating a story that is like no other. I am REALLY looking forward to seeing how Aimee and the other characters evolve in future books.
Kudos to Emily Gossett

>>REVIEW<< ACCORDANCE by SHELLY CRANE

Accordance (Significance #2)

by

Accordance, the sequel to Significance, was just as good as or dare I say even better then the first. Shelly Crane did an amazing job bringing everything to life.

Book Description:
In the sequel, Maggie learns much more about all the strange things that happened to her, and has to face new ones. She rebels against it, but ultimately, must face it for her new families sake and maybe even her life. Bish went from being her biggest supporter to her biggest pain in the butt and Kyle's intentions to attract her interest may not be so innocent. Caleb and Maggie face many new obstacles together and fight to work through them but will one that should be a good thing be too much for Maggie to handle?

I have been amerced in Maggie and Calebs life for the past 48 hours (reading both Significance an Accordance back to back) and I honestly wish it wouldn't end. The stories are beautifully written and keep you on the edge of your seat. I hope this is just the beginning of the Significance series!!! Defiance (Significance, #3) is set to be released May 2012

>>REVIEW<< SIGNIFICANCE by SHELLY CRANE

Significance (Significance #1)

by
Maggie is a seventeen year old girl who's had a bad year. Her mom left, her dad is depressed, she's graduating, barely, and her boyfriend of almost three years dumped her for a college football schalorship. Lately she thinks life is all about hanging on by a thread and is gripping tight with everything she has. Then she meets Caleb. She saves his life and instantly knows there's something about him that's intriguing but she is supposed to be on her way to a date with his cousin. But things change when they touch, sparks ignite. Literally. They imprint with each other and she sees their future life together flash before her eyes. She learns that not only is she his soul mate, and can feel his heartbeat in her chest, but there is a whole other world of people with gifts and abilities that she never knew existed. She herself is experiencing supernatural changes unlike anything she's ever felt before and she needs the touch of his skin to survive. Now, not only has her dad come out of his depression to be a father again, and a pain as well, but Caleb's enemies know he's imprinted and are after Maggie to stop them both from gaining their abilities and take her from him. Can Caleb save her or will they be forced to live without each other after just finding one another?

SIGNIFICANCE is a book that will allow you to have a different outlook on "love" after you read it. I was absolutely hooked from page one and could not put it down. And after finishing I find myself craving more of Caleb and Maggies tale. Good thing ACCORDANCE (Significance #2) was released on September 20th 2011. I have to give a special "THANK YOU" to author Shelly Crane for writing a book that gave me a total and complete escape.. I look forward to ALL future books written by you...

>>REVIEW<< IMAGE by JAMIE MAGEE

  (Insight #3)

Jamie Magee's writing never ceases to amaze me. After reading Embody (Insight #2) last week I was sure this series couldn't possibly get any better. Boy, I couldn't have been any more wrong. Image (Insight #3) put my mind through a roller coaster of emotions. Every time I thought I had it all figured out, I was wrong. Many secrets were revealed that you weren't even aware were being kept.

Book Description:
There is an ominous darkness, one that that is so dense and mind numbing that you can feel the chills race across your skin as the energy of the hatred behind it hovers near you. They thought that it was over…that he was dead….they never imagined that he was more powerful dead than he ever was alive.

A war is on the brink of erupting in the dark dimension of Esterious, the victory Willow had a few days ago was nothing less than vague memory. With each thought she has she fights the images of Drake’s dark eyes, his words… his promises. Doubt seeps into her soul as she stares forward and what could only be the hardest battle she has faced thus far.

Venus is meant to be the planet of love and peace….but when it falls into retrograde its influence changes. Matters of past relationships will surface; choices will be made with the mind and not the heart. Gateways to an evil that cannot be fathomed will open. Willow and Landen’s only defense is to hide their family away, and lock themselves in the palace that was once ruled by Donalt. The energy is heavy and dark within these walls…there is a presence that lingers and strikes at will. Cruel illusions are placed before Willow, but that is not even hardest part…what is hard is standing in room with Drake and Landen and listening to others tell you of lives that you cannot recall…for them to tell when and how you are going to die.
Every prediction and theory is about to be proven wrong…and the choice before Willow’s heart holds the lives of millions at stake. The question is will be she be able to see through the illusions before her and make a choice…she can live with?

Jamie Magee is an author to keep track of. Her writing style pulls you into the story to make you feel like you are apart of it yourself. Image (Insight #3) is set to be released November 8th 2011.
